Mable Beaumont Frazier Moody, 82 was born in Russellville, Ark. on Feb. 21, 1938 and passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021 at her residence in DeQuincy, along with her son-in-law, Winford Ray “PeeWee” “Birdeye” Stanley.
She is survived by her daughter, Candace Frazier Stanley and son, Louis Edward Frazier; grandchildren, Alisha Wylie, Georgia Hydle, Shonda Frazier, Scotty Frazier, Amanda Tompkins, Vanessa Frazier, Louis Frazier, Jr., Jonathon Frazier and William Frazier along with numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Jimmy Beaumont and Louis “Bumper” Beaumont.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Arnold “Boschie” Frazier, the father of her children, and Marshall Moody; children, LeRoy Frazier, Junior Frazier and infant girl “Sissy” Frazier; parents, Louis Beaumont and Cora Juanita Beaumont; siblings, Lelia Franklin, Melinda Patterson, Samuel Beaumont, Gerald Daniel Beaumont and Clifford Beaumont.
The family received friends 4-7 p.m. Monday, July 26, with the funeral service beginning at 7 p.m. The visitation and funeral service were held at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Rev. Anthony Kennon officiated. Interment was Tuesday, July 27, at Hyatt Cemetery in Fields.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
