James Miller, Jr. of DeQuincy was born on Feb.16, 1935 in Oberlin and passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 in Lake Charles at the age of 86.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Miller; his sons, John Miller and wife, Lea, Russell Miller and wife, Christy; grandchildren, Samuel Miller, Kaleigh Miller, and Soren Miller; and four great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Miller, Sr. and Estel Miller; brother, Wesley Miller; and his granddaughter, Monica Miller.
The family received friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 12, with an 11 a.m. funeral service at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Rev. Anthony Kennon officiated.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
