Brian Ware

Brian Verdell Ware, 57, of Longville, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at his residence.

He was born on Sept. 2, 1963 in Kinder. He enjoyed hunting and spending time at the Deer Camp. Brian also enjoyed fishing and reading in his spare time. He was a former crane operator and iron worker for a number of years at various places. Brian enjoyed LSU and the New Orleans Saints, and even loved watching South Beauregard Athletics. He coached baseball and basketball for the Ragley Rec. League, which he loved.

He is survived by his mother, Carol Ware of Longville; one son, Brandon Ware (Kyana) of Sulphur; two daughters, Amber Becnel (Andrew) of Iowa and Emily Ware of Natchitoches; one sister, Kelly Fosson (Bill) of Longville; along with three grandchildren, Cooper Becnel, Buller Becnel, and Kynzlee Ware.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Leland Ware.

A Celebration of Brian’s life will be held at Ragley First Pentecostal Church on Thursday, June 17, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Sean Chisholm officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the church, beginning at 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley.

Services entrusted to Jordan and Amanda Mothershed, of Hixson-Snider Funeral Home, 205 E. Harrison St., DeQuincy.
