Karrie Lynn Thomas, 62, of Sulphur died Monday, June 7, 2021.
She was born in Sulphur. She was a 1977 Sulphur High School Graduate. During her time there, she played softball, where she was the pitcher for the team from 1973-1977.
Survivors include her mother, Helen B. Thomas of Carlyss; four children, Burk Walker IV of Carlyss, Krystal Landry (Justin) of Ragley, Dustin Walker (Sarah) of Carlyss, Frank Byrd Jr. of Oakdale; eight grandchildren; and siblings, Norman Thomas Jr., Randy Thomas (Bridget), Kristi Higginbotham (Mike) all of Carlyss.
She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Thomas.
A Celebration of Life service was held Friday, June 11, led by Jody Barrilleaux at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mimosa Pines South Cemetery at a later date.
