Jared Walters

Jared Wesley Walters, 34, died Thursday, June 3, 2021, in Sidney, Mont.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur and was a 2005 graduate of Sulphur High School. Heworked for many years as a Pipeliner. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Carlyss.

Survivors include his wife, Jamie Walters of Carlyss; children, Kennidie Johnson and Lisa Walters, both of Plano, Texas, Wyatt Walters of Lake Charles, and Maverik Walters of Carlyss; brothers, Justin Walters of Sulphur, Tyler Breaux of Vinton, and Brandon Breaux of DeQuincy; grandparents, John Wayne and Linda Cart of Carlyss, Arnold “Walt” and Awanda “Jeanie” Walters of Knoxville, Tenn., and Ray Breaux of DeQuincy.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Haddock Walters; father, Greg Walters; and grandparents, Don Haddock and Martha Breaux.

A Celebration of Life was held Tuesday, June 15, at First Baptist Church of Carlyss led by Jody Barrilleaux, Celebrant.
