DeQuincy downed Evans 6-1. DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity claimed the lead in the fifth inning to defeat Evans.
The Lady Tigers stole the lead late and defeated Evans 6-1 on Thursday. The game was tied at one with DeQuincy batting in the top of the fifth when Katie Willis doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.
In the second inning Raeleigh Granger hit a triple and one run scored.
Granger got the win for the Lady Tigers. The pitcher allowed four hits and one run over seven innings, striking out ten.
Adah Doucet led DeQuincy with two hits in three at bats.
