Edith Beeson

Edith “Elaine” Beeson passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Elaine was born July 15, 1956 in Jasper, Texas to Alice and Clarence Chaddick. She was a 1974 graduate of Spurger High School. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grand-mother. She had a great passion for taking care of others and loved nothing more than having her family together.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, David Beeson; daughters, Amanda Parker of DeRidder, DeAnn Cunningham and husband, Alan of Bronson, Texas; sons, Shelby Beeson of Melrose, Texas and Daniel Beeson and wife, Kristi of Haughton; sister, Loretta Carrell and husband, Danny of Nacogdoches, Texas; and stepsister, Dawn Ward of Baytown, Texas; brothers, Velton Chaddick and wife, Jean of Nacogdoches, Texas, Ricky Chaddick and wife, Linda of Bronson, Texas; and stepbrothers, Lloyd Hargrove of San Augustine, Texas, Lynn Hargrove of San Augustine, Texas and Terry Hargrove of San Augustine, Texas; and her father-in-law, F. B. Beeson of Melrose, Texas. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Alice Chaddick; stepfather, Maurice Hargrove; and mother-in-law, Helen Beeson.

Pallbearers for the service were Daniel Beeson, Shelby Beeson, Chaz Coronado, John Parker, Jr., Alan Cunningham, and Raymond Crawford. Hon-orary pallbearers were Kyler Cunningham and Kayden Beeson.

The family received friends from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17 at East Side United Pente-costal Church, 800 Chris Haney Road, Nacogdoches, Texas with the funeral service beginning at 3 p.m. Officiating was Pastor Ennis Fuller. Inter-ment followed at Lower Melrose Cemetery in Nacogdoches.

Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
