The City Council of the City of DeQuincy met in special session on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. at the DeQuincy Police Station, 101 S. Pine Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana with the following members present: Ronda Jacobs, Denise Maddox, Judy Landry and Mark Peloquin. Absent: Daisy Cole.
The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by Mark Peloquin and the roll was called with the above result.
There was no public input.
A motion was made by Judy Landry and seconded by Ronda Jacobs to ratify the Mayor’s approval of a Master Services Agreement – Amendment No. 1, signed by Mayor Smith, between the DeQuincy Industrial Airpark and Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, PLLC, to assist the City of DeQuincy with various tasks at the DeQuincy Industrial Airpark and City of DeQuincy related to disaster response, recovery and restoration efforts from Hurricane Laura. Motion carried as follows: Yeas: Judy Landry, Ronda Jacobs and Mark Peloquin. Nays: None. Absent: Daisy Cole. Abstain: Denise Maddox.
A motion was made by Ronda Jacobs and seconded by Judy Landry to ratify the Mayor’s approval of work Authorization No. 8 allowing payment to Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, PLLC for assisting the City of DeQuincy with various tasks a the DeQuincy Industrial Airport and City of DeQuincy related to disaster response, recover and restoration efforts from Hurricane Laura. Motion carried as follows: Yeas: Denise Maddox, Ronda Jacobs and Mark Peloquin.
Nays: None. Absent: Daisy Cole.
Abstain: None.
A motion was made by Denise Maddox and seconded by Judy Landry to authorize Mayor to accept the bid from Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, PLCC for Consulting and Representation Services for Disaster Recovery.
A motion was made by Denise Maddox and seconded by Ronda Jacobs to accept the bid from CrowderGulf, LLC for Emergency Debris Removal and Site Management. Motion carried as follows: Yeas: Denise Maddox, Ronda Jacobs and Mark Peloquin. Nays: None.
Absent: Daisy Cole. Abstain: None.
A motion was made by Denise Maddox and seconded by Ronda Jacobs to accept the bid from Tetra Tech for Disaster Debris Monitoring. Motion carried as follows: Yeas: Denise Maddox, Ronda Jacobs and Mark Peloquin.
Nays: None.
Absent: Daisy Cole.
Abstain: None.
There being no further business to discuss, a motion was made by Denise Maddox and seconded Ronda Jacobs to adjourn the meeting.
