Millard “Allen” Booker, 70, of Lake Charles died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021.
He was a native of Pensacola, Fla. and long time resident of Lake Charles. He served in the United States Army until he retired with 29 years of service and then worked for the United States Post Office until his retirement after 20 years.
He was survived by his wife, Donna L. Booker of Lake Charles; daughters, Stephanie B. Saucier and husband Mark of Ragley and Melissa Booker-Lore and husband Christopher of Lake Charles; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister, Judy Knappen of Columbia, SC.; and brothers, Mark Booker Martha of Milton, Fla., Wayne Booker and Joel Booker, both of Pensacola, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard Francis Booker and Betty Phillips Booker; and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m. at the Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
