Patsy Ruth Pharris Maddox was born Apr. 16, 1946 and passed away Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021 at the age of 75.
She is survived by her children, Robin Hardin and husband, James of Many, Christie Ammons of West Monroe and Ken Maddox and wife, Anita of DeQuincy; grandchildren, Hope McGallion and husband, Brad, Dustin Perkins, Charles Perkins and wife, Lucy, Katlyn Ammons Jones, Lakyn Ammons, Tyler Ammons, Taryn Maddox, Taylor Maddox, and Samuel Maddox and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Billy Pharris, Nettie Hayden and Louis “Cricket” Stanley and wife, Theresa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, S. W. “Son” Pharris and Carmel Stanley; brother, Alvie “Buck” Pharris; and sister, Mildred Dickerson.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 8, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home with interment to follow at Oretta Cemetery in Singer.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
