Lionel Jeriod “Cookiehead” Cooks, 53, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021.
He served in the Air Force.
He is survived by two daughters, Shontellra Cooks and Kyliesha Cooks; sons, Adrian J. Cooks and Trayvon Watson; five sisters, Pamela Simien, Carolyn Jackson, Rosalyn Mitchell, Simona Clark, and Kristin Griffin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lionel and Betty Cooks; grandparents and Godparents.
Funeral service was held Saturday, Dec. 4, at First Church of God In Christ in DeQuincy. Burial followed in Paradise Cemetery in DeQuincy under the direction of King’s Funeral Home.
