Jeffery “Jeff” Arnold Young was born July 2, 1976, and passed away Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026, at the age of 50.
He is survived by his wife, Brandi Young; daughter, Randi “Maddie” Young; father, Jimmy Young and wife Sherry; mother, Phyllis Young; siblings, Robert “Bobby” Jordan and wife Natalie, Darlene Goins and husband Darren, and Angie Frazier and husband Randy; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Austin Caide Young; brother, Jimmy “Jimbo” Young Jr.; and grandparents, Arnold and Jamie Young, and CJ and Velma Reneau.
The family received friends from 5 – 8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 22, with the funeral service being held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 23, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Interment to follow at Oretta Cemetery in Singer.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
