Tristan Luke Pruitt is a recent graduate from the United States Marine Corps Boot Camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Parris Island, South Carolina.
During his training, Pruitt demonstrated outstanding dedication, discipline, and perservance while completing the rigorous demands required to earn the title of United States Marine. As a result of his exceptional performance during boot camp, Pruitt was meritoriously promoted to Private First Class, an honor awarded to only 15 or the 217 graduates in his training group.
Following graduation, Pruitt will continue his military training in Electronics Maintenance at Twentynine Palms, Calif., where he will prepare for his future service in the United States Marine Corps.
He is the son of Jared and Lyndi Smith of Powdersville, South Carolina. He is the grandson of Darryll and Vicki Pruitt of DeQuincy and Dubby and Jean Smith of Dacusville, South Carolina.
