Julie Nichole Richard Sheppard was born on Aug. 11, 1982, and passed away on Sunday, Apr. 19, 2026, at the age of 43.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Sheppard; parents, Raymond and Lisa Richard; children, Brooke Vice and Brennon Vice; siblings, Jonah Richard (Erin) and Rachel Richard (Josh); numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
She was preceded in passing by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
The family received friends Friday, Apr. 24, from 2 p.m., until the time of the memorial service at 3 p.m., at Crossroads Baptist Church, 1845 Highway 109 S. in Vinton. Rev. Rob Tibbitts officiated.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
