Last Tuesday, Feb. 24, the DeQuincy Lady Tigers travel to Lake Charles to take on the Barbe Lady Bucs in what was there second Class 5A opponent of the week as just the night before they had played Sulphur very close. Unfortunately, that was not the case against Barbe as the Lady Bucs defense held DeQuincy scoreless the entire game.
Maddie Vinatieri was 1-4, Onnie Remedies was 1-3, and Olivia Oden was 1-3.
