On Thursday, Feb. 26, the DeQuincy Lady Tigers made the trip northward up Hwy. 27 to take on the DeRidder Lady Dragons. It would not take long for DeQuincy to get on the board scoring in four of the seven innings played. The Lady Tigers were definitely hot as they collected 12 hits on the night, including a solo home run by Addli Scott which was the first long ball of the season for the team!
Audi Flower was 1-3, Maddie Vinatieri was 1-4, Emily Cooley was 2-4 with 2 RBIs, Aubree Royer went 3-4 with 2 RBIs, Onnie Remedies went 1-4, Olivia Oden was 2-3, Addli Scott was 1-3 with an RBI, and Kayden Whotte was 1-4 with an RBI.
Bella Moore went the distance in the pitchers circle recording four strikeouts!
DeQuincy 8, Deridder 7
