REHABILITATION

Sealed bids will be received by the City of DeQuincy, 300 North Holly Street, DeQuincy, LA 70633 or electronically via www.CivCastUSA.com until 1:00 PM CST on July 30, 2025, for the Cross Drain Rehabilitation Project.
STATEMENT OF WORK: Work includes rehabilitation of a triple-barrel 72-inch CMP culvert, installation of a concrete collar, and related grading.
PROJECT DURATION: 30 Calendar Days
BID OPENING: July 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM at DeQuincy Industrial Airpark Terminal, 100 Airpark Drive.
PRE-BID MEETING: (non-mandatory): July 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM, same location. A webcast option will be available. Access credentials will be posted on the bidding website www.CivCastUSA.com (ENTER PROJECT NAME).

CONTRACTOR LICENSE: Bidders must hold a valid Louisiana Contractor’s License in Heavy Construction or Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction
FUNDING ADVISEMENT: Notice is hereby given that the project is funded through State Grants which funds will not be available at the time of bidding. The Owner may reject all bids and cancel this solicitation should adequate funding not be secured within Sixty (60) days after bid opening. The time limits stipulated in LA. R.S. 38:2215(D) do not apply based upon the statutory exception that “the contract is to be financed in whole or in part by federal or other funds which will not be readily available at the time bids are opened.”
BID SECURITY: Bid Bond of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount is required
BID WITHDRAWAL: No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after opening, except as permitted by LA R.S. 38:2214.
OWNER’S RIGHTS: The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids per LA R.S. 38:2212(A)(1)(b). All provisions and requirements stated in the bid documents shall remain in effect and may not be waived by any entity.
