Beverly Joyce Shockley Brown was born Oct. 3, 1952, in Houston, Texas and passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the age of 72.
She is survived by her son, Nikolas Ray Brown and wife Megan; daughter, Laura Michelle Palermo Stovall and husband Butch; grandchildren, Theron Joseph Brown, Kaia Elizabeth Brown, Hayes Brown, and Dawson Cohl Stovall and wife Amber.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Lonis Brown; parents, Burl Eugene and Eunice Ozelle Shockley; and her brother, Brian Shockley.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m., Friday, June 27, and continuing from 9 a.m. until the time of the Homegoing Celebration at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 28, at Magnolia Baptist Church in Ragley.
Pastor David Free will be officiating. Interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
