Mildred M. Willis was born July 10, 1936, and passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the age of 88.
Mildred lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an appreciation for the simple joys. She enjoyed raising a beautiful garden and her dogs and cats that she loved so dearly. Above all she loved her family. She leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love and cherished memories.
She is survived by her children, Bonnie Dautriel, Glynn Bratton, Keith Bratton, and Patricia Welch; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
She was preceded in death by her children, Michael Bratton, Jeff Willis, and Vernon Willis; and her parents, Louis and Odella Perrodin.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 7, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Interment to follow at Big Woods Cemetery in Vinton.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
