Jackson graduated from academy; works for LCPD

By Major Jerry Bell

Officer Dathan Jackson graduated from the Calcasieu Parish Regional Law Enforcement Training Academy on Wednesday, Apr. 23, at the Civic Center in Lake Charles.

It has been Jackson’s life ambition to become a Police Officer and he has achieved that goal. He serves with the Lake Charles Police Department. Major Bell had many previous conversations with him about becoming an officer and told him how proud he was that he made it, and offered him some special advice.

The DeQuincy Police Dept. and especially Brother and Sister Jackson, are proud of Jackson and wish him much luck in his new position in life. He is now part of the family of blue and is a new peacemaker. May God protect him in his daily work.
