Debra “Debbie” Lavonia Miller Marceaux, 69, peacefully passed away on Sunday, Mar. 30, 2025, surrounded by family, friends, and pets in her final days. Debbie was born on Nov. 2, 1955, and throughout her life, she touched the hearts of all who knew her with her warmth, strength, and vibrant spirit.
Debbie was preceded in death by her daughter, Crysti Sachs; her parents, Apton and Doris Hawkins Miller; her sister, Johnette Miller-Barnes; and her brothers, Tommy Miller, Apton “AJ” Miller Jr., and Michael Miller.
She is survived by David Marceaux, her spouse of 28 years and lifelong companion. She is also survived by her children: Joshua Marceaux and Michelle Reifsnider, Jerimy and Janice Marceaux, and Haley and Danielle Marceaux; her brother, Rodney Miller; and her sister, Margaret Wilks. Debbie was the proud grandmother of Christopher Cisneros, Thylor and Tati Watkins, Samantha Marceaux and Matthew Breaux, Joshua Marceaux II, and Dayton Marceaux; and the cherished great-grandmother of Logan Matt, Lariah Cisneros, and Malakai Watkins.
Cremation was entrusted to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
