Carol Ann Stanton, 69, of Hemphill, Texas passed away on Wednesday, Apr. 2, 2025.
Carol Ann was born In Galveston, Texas on Feb. 28, 1956 to William and Gladys Stanton. She enjoyed playing online games, watching Star Trek, reading, crocheting and working on puzzles.
Carol Ann was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Dale Stanton.
Those left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Linda Lake of Tacoma, Washington; Barbara Ann Stanton of Merryville; Steve Stanton of Hemphill, Texas; Evelyn Eastling (Jim) of Missouri; Neil Stanton (Penny) of Sante Fe, Texas; and Connie Squires (Richard) of Austin, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
A Celebration of Life was held at 3 p.m. on Monday, Apr. 7, in Hixson-Snider Funeral Home. Hixson Celebrant Jody Tyler officiated. Visitation began at 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial followed at Hyatt Cemetery in Fields.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Steve Stanton, Neil Stanton, Steve Stanton Jr., Scott Stanton and Richard Squires II.
