Linda Darline Yount Dunn, 73, was born Nov. 26, 1951, in Lufkin, Texas, and passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025.
She is survived by her children, Joseph Dunn and wife Lynette, JL Dunn II and wife Tisha, Jennifer Dunn Gardner and husband Robert, Jonathan Dunn and wife Meghan, and Jared Dunn; spiritual son, Gary Mettlen; eight grandchildren that was her prayed in blessings, Sydney, Jonathan II, Jathan, Evangeline, Judah, Emmalena, Cooper, and Hadlee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, JL Dunn Sr.; parents, Luther and Joyce Yount; and her brother, Wayne Yount.
The family will receive friends and loved ones for a Going Home celebration at 10 a.m., Saturday, Mar. 8, at Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church, 1407 Ellis Ave., Lufkin, Texas.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
