Lady Tigers Fall to Iota on Opening Day
Last Tuesday, the DeQuincy Lady Tigers opened their season at home against the Iota Lady Bulldogs.
Unfortunately Iota got the better of DeQuincy in this one. Although the Lady Tigers made a nice 7th inning comeback attempt, they still came up a few runs short which would give DeQuincy their first loss of the 2025 regular season.
Emily Cooley went 1-4, Audi Flower went 1-2 with 2 RBIs, Maddie Vinatieri went 2-4 with 2 RBIs, Bryah LeDay went 1-3, Kayden Whotte went 1-3, and Briley Moore went 1-3.

Lady Tigers Run Rule Many
Last Friday, the DeQuincy Lady Tigers hosted the Many Lady Tigers in the freezing cold. However the DeQuincy Lady Tigers bats were anything but cold as DeQuincy collected 15 hits.
Last year, DeQuincy traveled to Many and lost 13-3 in 5 innings. Well, DeQuincy returned the favor as they run ruled Many in 5 innings by a final score of 13-3!
Emily Cooley went 4-4 with 2 RBIs, Audi Flower went 1-1 with 2 RBIs, Bryan LeDay went 1-3, Aubree Royer went 1-4 with an RBI, Kayden Whotte went 3-4 with 2 RBIs, Onnie Remedies went 2-4 with an RBI, and Olivia Oden went 3-3 with 2 RBIs.
Maddie Vinatieri pitched all 5 innings striking out 4 batters.
