Coby Ray Robin was born May 16, 1983, and passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, at the age of 41. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with his brothers, playing guitar, and working on cars. He also liked hunting, fishing, goofing off with his loved ones, and being with his daughter. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his partner, Amber Parsley; daughter, Julianna Robin; father, Anthony Robin; stepmother, Deborah A. Robin; mother, Freda Smith; siblings, Chad Harris and wife Chelce, Brandon Harris and partner Lauren, Jonathan Harris and wife Breanna, Hunter Robin, Shannon Wilson, and Natalie Pippin; aunts and uncle, Debbie G. Robin, Tina Benoit, Renny Benoit, and Angela Richard; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother; grandparents, Harold and Melba Robin; and uncle, Anthony Credeur.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 10, with the funeral service being held 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 11, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Interment followed at Gueydan Cemetery in Gueydan.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
