Three DeQuincy Youth Football teams competed in the playoffs last Saturday here in DeQuincy with two teams advancing to the Super Bowl this weekend in Pickering.
5-6 Flag: DeQuincy White 25, DeRidder White 20 – Caanan Christ scored a touchdown and an extra point, Wes Woodard scored 3 touchdowns.
7-8 Tackle: DeRidder 21, DeQuincy 0 – No Stats are available
9-10 Tackle: DeQuincy 13, Rosepine Purple 6 – Baylen Tillman scored 2 touchdowns as well as a fumble recovery on defense. Ryson Green scored an extra point.
SWLYLF Super Bowl
The Southwest Louisiana Youth Football League Super Bowl will be held at Pickering High School.

10:30 a.m. – 7-8 Tackle Championship:#1 DeRidder vs #2 South Beau Purple
12 p.m. – 9-10 Tackle Championship: #1 DeQuincy vs #2 South Beau Purple
1:30 p.m. – 11-12 Tackle Championship: #1 South Beau vs #2 DeRidder
