The South Beauregard Golden Knights went to Lake Charles last Friday and played their final regular season against the LCCP Trailblazers. Unfortunately the Knights fell to the Blazers. LCCP’s potent air raid attack proved to be too much for South Beau’s defense which resulted in a 46-13 win over the Knights.
South Beau will now turn their focus to the playoffs. The Knights will be on the road as the # 20 seed in the Division II Non-Select playoff bracket and will play the 13 seeded Brusly Panthers this Friday in the Baton Rouge area. Brusly comes into the matchup with an 8-2 overall record with their only losses being against Plaquemine and West Feliciana. The Knights come into to the game with a 6-4 overall record with losses to Welsh, Jennings, Westlake, and LCCP.
We want to wish the South Beauregard Golden Knights the best of luck this Friday at Brusly as well as safe travels to and from the game.
