Ronald Wayne Williams “Paw Paw Honey” was born Jan. 16, 1966, and passed away Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, at the age of 58. Ronald enjoyed music, cars, cooking, and watching sports. His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys. He loved being with his family, his grandchildren were his world. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children, LaShana Anderson, Ronetta Green (Raymond), Martell McCoy, Amon Demarcus Joseph, Charles Wayne Scott, and Bradley Scott; grandchildren, Zaria (Marquel), Tonika, Jamahri, Raeleigh, Ryson, Kelsie, Armon, Kadyn, Amoura, Eva, Ethan, Gabriel, Sara, and Dakota; great grandchildren, Zarian and Lyla; siblings, Sabrina Guillory (Ervin) of Houston, Texas, Carlos Williams (Consandra) of DeQuincy, and Maria Chenier of Humble, Texas; godchild, Zulekha Addison; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Beaty Williams; father, Roger Chenier; mother, Ida Marie Williams Cooper; and brother, Keithian Williams.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 2, at Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church in DeQuincy. Pastor Marvin Durgan will be officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
