Barbara Ann Hall was born May 17, 1944, and passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, at the age of 80. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She always had a pot of coffee and a gallon of tea ready for anyone that was to drop by for a visit. She enjoyed baking and cooking for her loved ones. Barbara touched many lives. She was a strong woman with a heart of gold.
She is survived by her children, Marla Kourtney and husband Michael, Douglas Hall, Regina Hall, Alicia Kiddy and husband John; bonus daughter, Karlyn Langlinais; siblings, Sue Coke, Raymond Damm, David Damm, Kenny Damm, and Betty Combs; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie G. Hall; parents, Carl and Vesta Damm; and siblings, Tom Damm, John Damm, Jim Damm, Richard Damm, Gary Damm, Carl Leroy Damm, Warren Dean Damm, and Marion Damm.
The family received friends from 5 – 8 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, with the funeral service was held at 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 9, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Interment followed at Oretta Cemetery in Singer.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
