The Merryville Panthers had a good performance in their scrimmage against West Hardin last Thursday beating the Oilers 12-0 in a controlled scrimmage. Coach Bart Coody was pleased with the product on the field. Now he’ll look to prepare his Panthers for the jamboree this Friday as they will host their parish rival East Beauregard. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Keener Cagle Memorial Stadium in Merryville.
