Nora Bea Kimball Young was born to James and Beatrice Kimball on Mar. 7, 1959 in DeQuincy. She died at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the age of 65. She graduated from DeQuincy High School and McNeese State University, and, over the years lived in Covington, Kentucky; Houston, Texas; Austin, Texas; Denver, Colorado and New Windsor, New York.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Young; son, Travis Young; grandchildren, Anthony and Ava Young; sisters, Judith Ann Nelson (Alton) of Houston, Texas and Carol Lynn Kimball of DeQuincy; brother, James Thomas Kimball (Laura Beth) of DeQuincy; uncles, Gordon Woodard of Argyle, Texas., Gene Woodard and Glen Woodard of DeQuincy; three nieces and two nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Brandon Hoover; and parents, James and Beatrice Kimball.
Arrangements were handled by Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home in Cornwall, New York.
