John Mederios Rogers, Jr. “Junior” was born Apr. 10, 1944, and passed away Thursday, Mar. 28, 2024, at the age of 79.
He is survived by his children, Michelle Whitaker and husband Brad, Sam Rogers, and John Rogers and wife Penny; grandchildren, Amber Koenig and husband Travis, Cameron Rogers, Sean Rogers, Carleigh Rogers, Ethan Whitaker, Conner Rogers, Jackson Rogers, and Jaiden Rogers; great-grandchildren, Delilah Koenig and Reese Hall; siblings, James E. Rogers, Sandra E. Acevedo, Dorothy A. Freitas, Caroline J. “Carrie” Moniz; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Elizabeth Rogers; parents, John and Anna Rogers; and brothers, Joseph Rogers, Manuel Rogers, and David Rogers.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. with the service to follow at 11 a.m., Friday, Apr. 5, at Caney Creek Apostolic Tabernacle, 16613 FM 1485, Conroe, Texas.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
