Lady Tigers fall on the road at Notre Dame
The Lady Tigers continued district play last Monday in Crowley but had a hard time trying to get any going as they were shut out by the Lady Pios. Emily Cooley went 1-2 at the plate and Miley Moore did the pitching duties recording 3 strikeouts.

Errors cost DeQuincy loss to Lake Arthur
The DeQuincy Tigers hosted Lake Arthur last Wednesday but it wasn’t the turnout they had hoped for with errors and runners stranded on base. The Lady Tigers couldn’t really find their groove.
Leading the hitting on the night was Bryah LeDay going 2-3 with an RBI, Miley Moore also going 2-3, Camryn Richardson going 1-2 with an RBI, and Addli Scott going 1-3.
Lake Arthur 9, DeQuincy 3
DeQuincy takes down Starks
The Lady Tigers competed in Sulphur tournament on Saturday at Frasch Park playing two games. The first being against rival Starks. The Panthers who always have a solid squad we’re looking to upset the Lady Tigers but DeQuincy didn’t let that happen as the bats came to life. A big part of that was thanks to Emily Cooley’s 4-5 3 RBI performance helped her team get a much needed confidence boosting win over a long time rival.
Also having a great day at bat were Maddie Vinatieri going 3-5 with 3 RBIs, Aubree Royer going 2-4 with 2 RBIs, Miley Moore went 2-4, Kamryn Mitchell went 1-5, Bella Moore scored 2 RBIs and Bryah LeDay scored an RBI.

Pitkin overwhelms DeQuincy 12-2
The Lady Tigers second game of the Sulphur tournament didn’t go as well as the first. Fortunately DeQuincy avoided being shutout.
Maddie Vinatieri recorded 3 strikeouts in the circle pitching all 7 innings.
Emily Cooley went 2-4 with an RBI, Aubree Royer went 1-3 with an RBI, Miley Moore went 1-4, Kamryn Mitchell went 1-4, Bella Moore went 1-3, and Bryah LeDay went 1-2.
