LaVerne Brown Preston was born July 7, 1939, and passed away Saturday, Mar. 2, 2024, at the age of 84.
She was preceded in death by her son, Brandon Wade Preston; parents, Jessie and Adele Brown; and her brother, Jerry W. Brown.
The family received friends from 12-2 p.m. the funeral service followed at 2 p.m., Thursday, Mar. 7, at Shepherd United Pentecostal Church in Shepherd, Texas. Interment followed at Squier Cemetery in Cleveland, Texas.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
