Brenda Cady was born Sept. 5, 1960, and passed away Monday, Feb. 26, 2024, at the age of 63.
She is survived by her fiance, Kenneth Ardoin; her one and only son, Brandon Manuel; granddaughter, Brooklyn Manuel; and her grandson, Camden Manuel; mother, Geneva Johnson; step siblings, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and her God children, Tammy Privat and husband Chip and Snapper “T-Man” Bearb and wife DeeDee.
She went to meet her husband; Larry Cady; her loving daughter, Shantel Manuel; and her brothers, Curtis and Ricky.
The family will receive friends from 9-10 a.m. with the service to follow at 10 a.m., Saturday, Mar. 9, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W, Fourth St., DeQuincy.
