The #20 seeded DeQuincy Tigers took a trip to Coushatta, and faced the #13 seeded Red River Bulldogs in the first round of the Division 3 Non-Select Basketball playoffs.
The game was tied 29-29 at halftime, in the 3rd quarter, DeQuincy was at one point down by 30 points but managed to get within 16 points, unfortunately the Tigers fell 66-50.
Red River advances to the second round but they will have to make a long road trip down here to Calcasieu Parish to take on the #4 seeded Vinton Lions.
