Junior Lawton Royer represented DeQuincy High School as a one man team at this past weekend’s LHSAA State Wrestling Championships in Bossier City. Royer ended up on the podium taking home 5th place out of 32 wrestlers.
Although he is a one man team he scored enough points by himself to put DHS ranked at 19th out of 38 schools.
Royer trains and wrestles throughout the year with the Sulphur wrestling team.
His parents are Jon and Stefani Viator Royer.
