Kingston Kash “King King” Chavis was born Dec. 31, 2021 in Sulphur, to Patrick Chavis and Shalonda Seraille Chavis. Kingston was an active and giggly baby. He was very loving and got along good with his other siblings. He will truly be missed. Little angel Kingston, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023 in DeQuincy.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his parents Patrick and Shalonda Chavis; three sisters, Tatiana, Shakiah, and Ezola Chavis; three brothers, Leonard, Josiah, and Zacharias Chavis; grandmother, Janella Green; and grandfathers, James Green and Herbert Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leonard Chavis; grandmother, Alberta Espree; and cousin, Monta Seraille. His visitation was held Saturday, Dec. 9, from 12 noon. The funeral followed at 2 p.m., at Evergreen Baptist Church located at 300 Acme St. in DeQuincy. Pastor James Harris officiated. Burial was in Community Cemetery under the direction of James Funeral Home.
