Roy Paul Champagne was born June 30, 1931, and passed away Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, at the age of 92.
He is survived by his children, Chester Champagne and wife Debby, Karen Champagne, Keith Wooten and wife LeAnn, and Billy Wooten Lyons and husband, Ricky; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ray Champagne and wife Joy; sisters, Flo Steinke and Rose Menard; and sister-in-law, Barbara Champagne.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Gertha Sellers Champagne and Leaster Champagne; parents, Emar and Eunice Champagne; and brother, Roland Champagne.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 25, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral service was held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 26, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home. Pastor Jared Pugh officiated. Interment followed at Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
