A portion of Bill Phillips Road, approximately 500 feet south of Arthur Irwin Rd., closed Wednesday, Oct. 25 and will remain closed until Saturday, Nov. 11.
The reason for this closure is for emergency bridge repairs.
Southbound traffic on Bill Phillips Rd. should detour east on Arthur Irwin Rd. to LA 27, then head south on LA 27 to Leblanc Street and then go west on Leblanc St. to LA 389. Northbound traffic on Bill Phillips Rd. should detour north on LA 389 to Arthur Irwin Rd. and then head east on Arthur Irwin Rd. to Bill Phillips Rd.
Drivers should expect delays and are asked to use caution when driving in the area.
