Anthony “Tony” Holmes was born Feb. 14, 1957, and passed away on Monday, Oct. 16, 2023, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Miss. at the age of 66. He was a resident of Tylertown, Miss.
He is survived by his daughters, Heather Thomas (Corey), and Hollie Clement (Cody); his son, Cory Barlow; sisters, Cookie Crenshaw (Mark), Anita Barks (Joseph), Rhonda Fevrejean, Lisha Hurst (Larry), and Shannon Heidelburg (Greg); brothers, Ray Holmes (Charlotte), Steven Richard, (Brenda), and David Holmes; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, EvaRae and Al Richard, and Altus Holmes; sister, Debbie Albright; nephew, Chad Bryant; and great-nephew, Jaden Herlacher.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
