At 9 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 23, the DeQuincy Masonic Lodge #279 continued with its charitable services to the DeQuincy Community by arranging to have three hairdressers set up inside The Care Center of DeQuincy to provide haircuts to the residents of the home.
The Masonic Lodge also provided shirts, pants, shoes, and other clothing items requested by the nursing home staff to be distributed to the residents as needed by them. DeQuincy Masonic Lodge 279 would like to give special thanks to Josie Brown, Jessica Brown, and Marisa Tolbert for providing their hairdressing services.
Part of being a mason is to help those who need help and who better to help than seniors in a nursing home.
