Roger Dale Williams was born Aug. 25, 1966 and passed away Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023 at the age of 57. Roger had a big personality and a great sense of humor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling. Most of all he loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children, Gary Dale Williams and wife, Kristi, David Kyle Williams and wife, Brooke; grandchildren, Xavier Williams, Maddison Williams, Riley Williams, McKenzie Harmon; siblings, Sandy Teeter and husband, Larry, Kathy and Harold Hammett; Debbie Norgaard, and Brandon Williams; along with numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dorothy Williams; and sisters, Tina Thompson and Sharon Williams.
The family received friends from 12 p.m. until time of the service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Rev. Carlton Jackson, Jr., Michael Shane Brandon, and Larry Teeter officiated.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
