Leslie Kelley

Leslie Kelley was born Sept. 9, 1956, in Houston, Texas and passed away Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023, in DeQuincy, at the age of 67.

Leslie was a lifelong resident of DeQuincy, and retired from Westlake Polymers. He enjoyed garage sales and flea markets. Leslie was an excellent baseball player and never met a stranger. He loved cooking for everyone even his fur babies. Leslie was a family man and loved his kids and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Vicky Kelley; children, Brandon Kelley and wife, Tina, Brandy Boyne and husband, Eric, Casey Trahan and husband, Josh; grandchildren, Matt, Tori, Tayler, Cameron, Kenzie, Emma, and Jessica; great grandchildren, Osiris, Phoenix, Bryer, and Bryndle; sisters, Shirley Kelley and Susan McBride; sisters-in-law, Sharon LeBlanc and Debbie Vander; brother-in-law, Brock Beyeaux; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends; and his faithful companions, Rambeaux and Rocky.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Kelley; mother, Frankie Pharris; stepfather, Doc Pharris; brother, Charles Kelley; sister, Rhonda Kelley; father and mother-in-law, Helen and Hugh Beyeaux; and his beloved, Joey.

The family received friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, and continued from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Rev. Anthony Kennon officiated. Interment followed at Hyatt Cemetery.

Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
