Some of our favorite depictions of the Grand Old KCS Depot in DeQuincy are from artist’s renderings. We would like to invite local artists to participate in a month-long art gallery display and contest in conjunction with the Centennial Celebration of our KCS Depot. We welcome you all to capture the depot in any format, be it oil paint, watercolor, photography, sculpture, quilting, etc.
Your creations will be displayed throughout the museum for the month of October, and visitors at the Centennial will be able to vote on their favorite. The winner will be announced at the close of the day.
All entries may be dropped off at the DeQuincy Railroad Museum Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
