Clifton C. Adkins, Jr. of Casa Grande, Arizona, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023.
He was born in Shreveport on Apr. 7, 1944 to Clifton C. Adkins, Sr., owner of Adkins Variety Store in DeQuincy, and Evelyn Adkins Bohan. Both are deceased. He was a graduate of the DeQuincy High School Class of 1962.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rosa Tanora Adkins, children: Clifton C. “Sonny” Adkins, III, Corey Adkins, Alyssa Adkins, Benjamin Adkins, Francisco Tanora, Myra Tanora, 13 grandchildren; and his sister, Ruthe Adkins Vandergriff, and her husband Lionel.
