Ernest Ray Lamberth was born July 30, 1943, and passed away Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023, at the age of 80.
He enjoyed deer and turkey hunting, but most of all he loved his family. Especially his grand and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Lamberth; sons, Randall Lamberth and wife, Violet “Kitty”, Gregory Scott Lamberth and wife, Teri; Curry Darbonne and wife, Robin; grandchildren, Erica, Kylie, Josh, and Jonathon; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ertis and Eva Gertrude Lamberth; brother, Derwood Lamberth; and sister, Lois Crumpler.
Cremation was entrusted to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
