THE US Army Corps of Engineers, (MVN) has received an application from Venture Global CP2 LNG LLC, and Venture Global CP Express LLC, to install and maintain the CP2 Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) facility, and CP Express pipeline and facilities, from Cameron Parish, Louisiana to Jasper County, Texas. The facility and pipeline are located within the New Orleans and Galveston Districts. The New Orleans District is reviewing the proposed work located in Cameron and Calcasieu Parishes. MVN is accepting public comments on this project until September 3, 2023.
