Roger Dale Broussard was born Feb. 9, 1953, and passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the age of 70.
He was a lifelong resident of Vinton. Roger was known for having a giving and generous heart. He loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his sisters, Sarah Barzare and husband, John “Buck”, Lynn Broussard; along with his nieces and nephews, Matt Barzare, Leslie LeDoux, Andrea Barzare; and lifelong companion, Pam Howell.
He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Dale Broussard; parents, Ernest and Lourina Broussard; and brother, Larry James Broussard.
A graveside service was held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 15, at Granger Cemetery in Vinton.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
