Carolyn “Susie” Johnson was born Sept. 3, 1968, and passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023, at the age of 54. Carolyn enjoyed posting recipes on facebook and playing video games on her phone. Most of all she loved her family and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Brian Johnson; children, Rose Johnson, Mirandia Fowler, and Ashley Johnson; grandchildren, Clara, Kourtney, Story, Barry, and Iris; siblings, Richard Fowler and wife, Tina, Rodney Fowler and Laura; and nieces, Emmie, Maria, and Brittany.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Isabella “Bella” Hilliard; and parents, Howard and Sandra Fowler.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 15, and the funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, June 16, at Good Hope Baptist Church, 1300 Hwy 109, Singer. Rev. Mark Shultz will officiate. Interment to follow at Newlin Cemetery, Singer, Louisiana.
Arrangements will be handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
